Zion National Park – The Virgin River

Zion Canyon is the result of millions of years of work by the Virgin River.  It runs an average of 100 cubic feet per second.  The still of the river in places belies it ferocity.

All of the photos on this page have a maximum print size of 5 x 7.  They were taken in 2005 with my very first digital camera.
