Saturday…In The Parks

I seem to be stuck on song lyrics lately!

On this past Saturday, I was sitting in the house, bored and bored.  I looked at the temperature and realized I could actually go outside without fear of Raynaud’s!  I got dressed and left the house.  I went first to Ken Mitchell Open Space and Park. I was treated to some feeding activity of Ring-billed Gulls, and only a few other species.  But, the view across the lake was amazing!

With not much going on at Ken Mitchell, I decided to head over to Barr Lake State Park.  Great idea!  While the lake is still very low, and it’s still difficult to get close enough to get good photos of the shore birds, the sky was perfect for some really beautiful shots.
