Photos from Staying Home

I am one of those high-risk persons who shouldn’t be out and about around other people. I have only left my house four times in the two months since I moved back to Texas. Two of those were to go pick up meds at the drug store, and one was to pick up groceries. I ordered groceries on-line like usual, but from a store that doesn’t deliver. I did curbside pick-up, so I didn’t really have to get close to anyone! And the three things I wanted most that I couldn’t find from the delivery stores were out of stock! I should have just stuck with the ones that deliver (although it was good to get in the car and drive). The fourth time was to go to a little park on the Leon River just a few minutes from my home the day before the stay-at-home orders took effect.

Anyway, staying at home hasn’t been such a bad thing. There are woods in my back yard, and plenty of birds and other creatures. Lots of things to keep me busy with my camera. I have two Hummingbird feeders and several seed feeders. They are attracting a variety of birds. I have a Fox Squirrel that visits regularly, and some Green Anoles that hang around. There are weird bugs, too! Oh, and there are lots of wildflowers, too.

Here are just a few of the photos I’ve taken over the past few weeks. Staying home can be pretty interesting!
