Did You Know — Eagles?

Did you know that Bald Eagles usually mate for life, and both parents tend the nest? It takes them 4-5 years to age to maturity, with several different patterns in their plumage over that time. Their nests are usually 4-5 feet wide and 2-4 feet deep. But, one pair of eagles in Florida, holds the record for the largest bird’s nest. It was 20 feet deep and 9-1/2 feet wide, weighing over two tons!
