Grateful for Laughter

StayOut-1When the kids got here on Sunday, I told them the spare room was off limits–there are presents in there that I don’t want them to see.  My grandson takes things very seriously.  He made a sign to warn everyone to keep out.  I just walked down the hallway, saw the sign and laughed.

The kid also love MadLibs.  We spent some time doing a few of those and laughed until we lost our breath.

This morning, several friends posted silly things on Facebook.  I laughed out loud.

So, today I am grateful for all of the things that make me happy or make me laugh.  I’m thankful that I am able to enjoy the funny things in life!

  1. Cute! 🙂
The poet E.E.Cummings once wrote a “thank you” letter to a woman who let him stay at her home a few days when he was really broke ($-wise). She had some children, and (apparently) he spent some time with them. He wrote the thank-you letter in the manner of a child (misspellings and overgeneralizations and all). I have the original letter framed. I’ll have to take a pic of it sometime and post it in my blog. 🙂
    Have a super Thanksgiving!
